Babylon Goat Soap

Our own natural goats milk soap made at Babylon Farm by us!
Our small herd of mini-Nubian and Alpine goats produce fantastic fresh milk which we turn to cold processed soap offered to you just 30 minutes away from Canberra CBD at our farm or online.

In addition to raw goats milk and rich goats colostrum, we use such luxury products as shea butter, macadamia or sweet almond oil, virgin olive oil, coconut oil and rice bran oil. Only natural essential oils are added in some soaps to create a product which not only cleanses and conditions your skin but also uplifts, cheers you up or, opposite, provides soothing effect. Some soaps are unscented for those who experience allergies.

Some other additives include: natural clays, activated charcoal, mineral colourants, natural honey, wax, turmeric and lavender seeds.

Each bar is cured for at least eight weeks to reinforce cleansing, conditioning and soothing effects.
Each soap is made by hand and hence no soap is the same, each bar has its unique individual look and shape.
Our soap is made of at least 33% of goats milk.

We are a National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) registered manufacturer of soap and insured soap maker.

Turmeric For Your Skin

Is Goat Soap Good for Your Skin?

Goat soap can help soothe irritated, sensitive skin and may help reduce symptoms of eczema and psoriasis.

If you have dry, irritated, sensitive skin, or if you suffer from eczema or psoriasis, then you know what a struggle it can be to find a soap that doesn’t aggravate your skin. The answer to your skin care woes may not come from a lab but from a farm animal: goats.

Most goat milk soaps are specifically formulated to not include artificial colors or scents, or synthetic detergents, which can aggravate sensitive skin. However, there are many different brands and formulations, so be sure to check the ingredient list before buying.

Goat milk soap is quickly becoming one of the most popular types of traditional soap, according to an analysis done by Research and Markets, a market research company.

Goat milk has a natural neutral pH and lactic acid, which combined with its high fat content makes it perfect for many skin care products, including soap.
